Who we are
A church you can call family. A place you can call home.
We're Victory Outreach Portland — a contemporary, multicultural church on SE Stark Street. Pastor Max and Linda Garza planted this church in 1991 with their three kids and a burden for this city, and we've been here ever since: building people and transforming lives — free recovery homes for men and women, food and clothing for the neighborhood, and a church family for anyone who walks in.
Whether you're young, mature, single, or married, we have a place of connection for the entire family. You will find the people here warm and friendly, as well as excited to be a part of a church that is making a difference in people's lives. Our goal is to reach people and spread the message of God's love, hope, and plan not only in our city, but throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Where it all began. Victory Outreach was founded by Pastor Sonny & Julie Arquinzoni on the streets of East Los Angeles in 1967 — one family reaching the people everyone else had given up on. Portland is part of that worldwide family.

Since 1991 we've established faith-based recovery homes for men and women called Victory Homes — completely free of charge for those fighting addiction. These Victory Homes aren't just about getting clean, but experiencing a total transformation — being equipped to fulfill their purpose and potential.

Sundays at 11
A church you can call family.
Come as you are — seriously. Upbeat worship with a full band, a practical message, and about an hour of your time. Nursery to grandparents, and nobody checking what you're wearing. We care about hearts, not clothes.
